About Us



                                                       St.Joseph’s  Public School is a catholic. Private and minority institution established, managed and run by CMC sisters, Congregation of Mother of Carmel in the year 2001. The congregation is found by St.Chavara Kuriakose Elias in the year 1866. St.Chavara  has a divine personality who lift up a society which was drowned in the darkness of illiteracy and social evils. St.Chavara promoted the starting of schools attached to the churches and provided the depressed and backward sections of the society with the opportunity to studying together with the upper class children by giving them economic aid such as clothes books, noon meals etc. His dream of giving education to the society still continues through the CMI and CMC congregation as a mission.St.Joseph’s Public School is proud to be an incorporated part of  the CMC congregation by giving the value based education to the society. CMC congregation has 650 schools and 16 collages in India and other continents. We give importance to character formation and moral values.



                  CBSE Affiliation : As a part of CBSE Affiliation inspection took place on 15/12/2008
NOC : DEO of Ernakulam visited our school on 10/11/2011 and 27/02/2013 as apart of granting NOC verification. NOC grants on 20/03/2014 .
We obtained sanction for composite provisional affiliation for secondary school examination of the Board for period of three years w.e.f 01/04/2014 to31/3/2017. The affiliation code number allotted to our school is 931161.
Buildings: The construction of the old school building stared in the 2004 and competed in 2006. To provide more and better facilities the management decided to annex the existing building and the construction work started in the year 2011 and completed in the year 2013. Now we have Classes from Std I to Std X in a three storied building with 12 class rooms, a computer and science lab consisting. We have 8 class rooms, Library, Maths Lab and music room in the old building.
