About the school

St.Joseph’s Public School is a catholic Private and minority institution established, managed and run by CMC sisters, Congregation of Mother of Carmel in the year 2001. The congregation is found by St.Chavara Kuriakose Elias in the year 1866. St.Chavara has a divine personality who lift up a society which was drowned in the darkness of illiteracy and social evils. St.Chavara promoted the starting of schools attached to the churches and provided the depressed and backward sections of the society with the opportunity to studying together with the upper class children by giving them economic aid such as clothes books, noon meals etc. His dream of giving education to the society still continues through the CMI and CMC congregation as a mission.St.Joseph’s Public School is proud to be an incorporated part of the CMC congregation by giving the value based education to the society. CMC congregation has 650 schools and 16 collages in India and other continents. We give importance to character formation and moral values.
